Link Click: why is Bridon Arc called Season 3 if the real third season aired in 2026?

Bridon Arc is the Yingdu installment released in China in 2024. The official third season began in August 2026. Here is how regional listings and the Japanese edit cause confusion.

Bridon Arc is not the official third season of Link Click that debuted in 2026. It is the Yingdu installment (英都篇), originally released in China on December 27, 2024. Link Click Season 3 (时光代理人 第三季), by contrast, began on August 14, 2026. Confusion arises because Bridon is the animated series' third major installment, while streaming catalogs do not always number releases consistently.

The distinction is visible in bilibili's own listings: the Chinese platform presents Yingdu and Season 3 as separate titles. To find the right release, check the arc name and year, and the episode if needed, rather than relying on a platform's season number alone.

What is the correct viewing order?

For a first viewing, release order preserves the sequence in which the series shares information. Although Bridon revisits earlier events, it was released after Season 2 and before the third season in 2026.

  • Season 1: the starting point, released in 2021.
  • Season 2: the follow-up released in 2023.
  • Bridon Arc / Yingdu: released on December 27, 2024, with six episodes in its original Chinese edition.
  • Season 3: debuted in China on August 14, 2026, described as Season 3 Part One in the international announcement.

This is the recommended viewing order, not a strict chronology of every story event. Since Link Click uses photographs to revisit different moments in the past, moving an origin-focused arc to the beginning can reveal information earlier than the series originally intended.

What do the official titles establish?

bilibili's page for 时光代理人 英都篇 records a December 27, 2024 start, a completed run and six episodes. The same series directory also has a separate listing for 时光代理人 第三季, which began on August 14, 2026. These are distinct releases, not translations of one season.

On June 19, 2026, Crunchyroll reported bilibili's announcement of Season 3 Part One, confirming the labeling used for the later release. In 2025, Crunchyroll had already reported a Japanese dub of Bridon planned for 2026 while separately describing a third season still in production. That distinction existed before either 2026 broadcast.

Why does the Japanese Bridon release have eight episodes?

In China, Yingdu debuted as a six-episode installment. The Japanese-dubbed television edition of 英都篇 began on February 4, 2026. The official Japanese website subsequently advertised episode 8 for March 2026, while bilibili still listed six episodes for the original Chinese release.

Those counts are consistent with material being divided differently for a separate broadcast schedule. Independent guide AdaptLore describes the original opening as split into three Japanese television episodes. That is an editorial explanation of the count, not proof of eight brand-new story chapters belonging to another season. The firm evidence from the official pages is that both episode counts concern Bridon/Yingdu, not the Chinese Season 3 that started in August.

What does Prime Video show, and why is it misleading?

On the Portuguese-language Prime Video pages checked on October 24, 2026, the Link Click selector displayed Temporada 1, Temporada 2, Temporada 3, Bridon Arc and 3ª Temporada. One menu thus combines numbered seasons, an arc title and two ways to say third season; it is not a definitive statement about the story's release structure.

The service also has separate detail pages for Bridon Arc and 3ª Temporada. The former presents the six-episode arc, while the latter lists episodes of the 2026 release. The comparison is useful, but a catalog is not proof of continuity or availability in Brazil: menu labels, episode inventories, audio options, subscriptions and viewing rights depend on region, channel and date. A date displayed by Prime should not be treated as an original Chinese premiere without checking the original distributor.

How can you identify the right season without spoilers?

If a listing says Bridon Arc, Yingdu Arc, Yingdu Chapter or 英都篇, it refers to the earlier 2024 installment, even if a service groups it as a third installment or gives it another season number. Season 3 Part One and 时光代理人 第三季 refer to the release that began in August 2026.

To avoid skipping material when switching languages or services, match the arc title, compare the opening and ending of the last episode you watched, and check whether the catalog follows the six-episode Chinese cut or the eight-episode Japanese schedule. AdaptLore's guide agrees on release order, but bilibili's official pages and the Japanese edition settle the naming question.

The answer does not require declaring one app's numbering correct: Bridon is the 2024 arc; the official third season is the 2026 release. A streaming label is simply one way to organize its catalog.
