Persona 3 Reload on Switch 2: Why Doesn't Premium Include Episode Aigis?

Find out why Persona 3 Reload's Digital Premium Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 excludes Episode Aigis, with a clear comparison of game editions and DLC packs to help avoid duplicate purchases.

Persona 3 Reload's Digital Premium Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 does not include Episode Aigis because Sega and Nintendo define that edition as the base game, a digital art book, a digital soundtrack, and seven customization DLCs. The additional story campaign is sold in a separate pack. The word "Premium" does not mean that every story expansion is included. The official Premium DLC Pack description also explicitly excludes Episode Aigis.

Persona 3 Reload launched on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23, 2025. This comparison covers products listed on Nintendo's Brazilian store, cross-checked against the Sega/Atlus website and Nintendo's US DLC catalog. Bundle contents were checked on October 22, 2026; prices and promotions should be verified in your account's regional store before purchase.

Edition comparison: what does each product include?

The key distinction is between full game editions, which include the RPG, and DLC packs, which require a compatible copy of the base game. The seven P4G/P5R DLCs in the table are outfits, Personas, and music taken from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal. The EX and Velvet add-ons form a separate group associated with the Episode Aigis pack.

Digital Deluxe includes the base game, a 34-page digital art book, and a 60-track digital soundtrack. Digital Premium adds the seven P4G/P5R customization DLCs to those items. Neither edition includes Aigis's epilogue.

Why don't "Digital Premium" and "Premium DLC Pack" mean a complete expansion bundle?

Sega divides the extras into three commercial offerings. The DLC Pack contains seven customization add-ons: Phantom Thieves costumes, Shujin Academy uniforms, two Persona 5 Royal Persona sets, a Persona 5 Royal BGM set, Yasogami High uniforms, and a Persona 4 Golden Persona set. None adds a new story campaign.

The Premium DLC Pack combines that DLC Pack with the digital art book and soundtrack, but does not include the base game. The Digital Premium Edition, by contrast, includes the game alongside the same art, music, and customization extras. This is why buying the Premium DLC Pack is not equivalent to buying the Digital Premium Edition, and why neither product on its own unlocks Episode Aigis.

Nintendo's Brazilian Premium DLC Pack page expressly states that Episode Aigis is excluded. Sega/Atlus makes the same distinction on its official Switch 2 site, so this is not an assumption based on product names.

What comes with the Episode Aigis -The Answer- Pack?

This pack is intended for players who want Episode Aigis -The Answer-, the epilogue to the main story. According to Nintendo Brazil's product description, the campaign adds more than 30 hours of gameplay. Understanding the purchase does not require plot spoilers: it is a story set after the base campaign, with Aigis at its center.

Along with the story expansion, the pack contains three separately identified extras: the Persona 5 Royal EX BGM Set, the Persona 4 Golden EX BGM Set, and the Velvet Costume & BGM Set. These additional tracks and themed outfits are different from Digital Premium's seven P4G/P5R DLCs. The Aigis pack does not include the base RPG or replace the art book and soundtrack bonuses in Deluxe and Premium.

Which purchase makes sense for your situation?

  • Starting fresh and want the entire story: choose an edition containing the base game, then add the Episode Aigis Pack. Digital Premium by itself does not meet that goal.
  • Already own Digital Premium: the missing story content is the Episode Aigis Pack. Buying the DLC Pack or Premium DLC Pack again could duplicate items you already have.
  • Already own the standard game: buy the Episode Aigis Pack if the epilogue is your priority. The regular DLC Pack provides crossover outfits, Personas, and music, not the Aigis story.
  • Already own Digital Deluxe: the Aigis pack adds the story. The Premium DLC Pack would repeat your existing art book and soundtrack; you can consider the seven customization DLCs separately.

Three things to verify before paying

First, check that the listing is for Nintendo Switch 2 and your account's region. Store names, offers, and prices from other countries should not be assumed to apply in Brazil. Nintendo's US store also lists Episode Aigis separately from the Premium DLC Pack, confirming the product distinction but not any equivalence in pricing.

Second, DLC packs require a separately owned copy of Persona 3 Reload. Nintendo advises installing the latest game update. Owning only the Episode Aigis Pack or Premium DLC Pack does not give you the base game.

Third, check what you already own before purchasing another bundle. Nintendo notes that certain add-ons are also available individually and that contents may overlap. Compare the items in your edition with the prospective pack to avoid paying for duplicates.
