Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled for release on February 12, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. In Brazil, Nintendo explicitly lists Brazilian Portuguese support, while Steam confirms a Brazilian Portuguese interface, full voice audio and subtitles for PC. Customers who pre-order the Deluxe edition may gain access 48 hours earlier, starting February 10, subject to store and regional terms.

This is an official schedule, but the game has not launched yet: the dates and benefits below reflect pages checked on October 18, 2026. Early access for one edition does not change the Standard edition's release date.

Release dates and platforms: what each store says

PlatformStandard releasePre-order early accessStore details
PlayStation 5 (PS5)February 12, 2027Deluxe: February 10, 2027Brazilian PlayStation Store; the PS5 version is PS5 Pro Enhanced.
Xbox Series X|SFebruary 12, 2027Deluxe: February 10, 2027Brazilian Xbox Store; do not confuse this with Xbox One.
PC (Steam)February 12, 2027Deluxe: February 10, 2027Brazilian Steam listing for the PC edition.
Nintendo Switch 2February 12, 2027Deluxe: February 10, 2027Nintendo Brazil lists Standard and Deluxe separately; this does not announce a version for the original Switch.

February 12 is stated in the Amazon Games announcement, the Brazilian Steam and Nintendo listings, and PlayStation's announcement. Sony and Nintendo's stores also show February 10 specifically for the Deluxe edition. Early access is a pre-order benefit, not a general February 10 launch.

There is a discrepancy on Xbox: its general promotional page still says "outono de 2027" (fall 2027), while the Standard edition's Brazilian Xbox Store listing states February 12, 2027. That precise date matches the publisher's announcement and other stores. The discrepancy alone is not evidence of a postponement.

Does it support Brazilian Portuguese, including voice acting?

Yes, Brazilian Portuguese is officially listed. The Brazilian Steam language table checks all three options for PT-BR: interface, full audio and subtitles. This is the most detailed PC-language confirmation available in the consulted documents.

Nintendo Brazil lists "Português Brasileiro" among supported languages for both the Standard and Deluxe Switch 2 versions. However, its list does not distinguish voice audio, interface or subtitles, so that listing alone cannot establish which of those features the Switch 2 version includes. PC dubbing should not automatically be treated as confirmation for PS5 or Xbox either. Check the corresponding console store's language details before buying.

Standard, Deluxe and Collector's: which offers early access?

  • Standard Edition: includes the base game; pre-orders receive the Survivor Outfit as an early-unlock bonus. The Standard edition does not include 48-hour game access.
  • Deluxe Edition: includes the Standard content plus the Parisian Fugitive Outfit, a post-launch story DLC pack and up to 48 hours of early game access as a pre-order bonus. The advertised start date is February 10, 2027.
  • Collector's Edition: according to the publisher, includes the Deluxe content alongside physical collectibles such as a Lara Croft statue, mini art book, pin, keychain and steel case. Availability depends on selected retailers; its early access also depends on pre-order terms.

In its Switch 2 announcement, Amazon Games lists regional exceptions to the 48-hour early-access offer, including Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries. Brazil is not on that list. Eligibility still depends on the purchased edition and the store's terms.

The Deluxe story pack is post-launch content, not something guaranteed to be playable during the two early-access days. Nintendo Brazil estimates the second quarter of 2027 for it, but gives no exact day. A pre-order early-access bonus should also not be confused with a game released through a development-stage "Early Access" program.

What is different about Nintendo Switch 2?

Alongside the two dates shown on the digital listings, the publisher confirms physical Switch 2 editions at selected retailers in Game-Key Card format. Physical buyers should check the format and download requirements rather than assume the entire game is stored on a conventional cartridge.

Is this a remake of 1996's Tomb Raider?

Amazon Games describes Legacy of Atlantis as a complete reimagining of Lara Croft's first adventure, released in 1996, developed by Crystal Dynamics with Flying Wild Hog using Unreal Engine 5. It is not simply a higher-resolution version of the original. Official materials describe larger locations, partially interconnected spaces and redesigned puzzles, including elements of Peru's Lost Valley.

The premise retains the search for the Scion fragments and locations including Peru, Greece, Egypt and an island in the Mediterranean. These details come from official announcements and store descriptions, not from a performance review or an assessment of an unreleased build.

For a purchase decision, the key distinctions are: February 12, 2027 is the announced general release, February 10 is a pre-order benefit for eligible editions, and the detailed Brazilian Portuguese voice-language confirmation comes from the Brazilian Steam listing. Prices, exact unlock times, bonus conditions and platform-specific languages should be checked again before pre-ordering.
