Spoiler warning: this article discusses Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 through episode 59 (the season's twelfth episode). It does not reveal later manga developments.
At the end of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, Yuta Okkotsu has 190 points, Megumi Fushiguro has 51, and Yuji Itadori has 1 in the Culling Game. The approved change is a rule allowing players to transfer points to one another. A rule letting people withdraw safely has not been introduced. That is where the anime leaves the story, without borrowing developments from later manga chapters.
The scoreboard: who has how many points?
| Character | Points at season's end | How the total was reached |
|---|---|---|
| Yuta Okkotsu | 190 | Earned points by defeating Dhruv Lakdawalla and Kurourushi, and received transfers from Takako Uro and Ryu Ishigori, whom he spared. |
| Megumi Fushiguro | 51 | Earned points for killing Chizuru Hari and Reggie Star; Reggie also transferred his 41 points before dying. |
| Yuji Itadori | 1 | Received a point from Hiromi Higuruma after the rule change. |
| Hiromi Higuruma | 1 (calculated balance) | He had 102 points, spent 100 to add the rule and transferred 1 to Yuji. The balance follows from those reported actions. |
These are balances supported by the season's ending, not a leaderboard for every participant. Yuta's 190 points do not represent 190 kills because transfers now count. The anime also does not provide a complete final score for allies such as Hakari and Takaba.
What were the rules before that change?
The Culling Game is a ritual devised by Kenjaku and played across ten colonies in Japan. Under its original rules, people whose cursed techniques have awakened must declare their participation in a colony within 19 days; entering a colony as a non-player makes someone a participant. Kills earn points, generally five for a sorcerer and one for a non-sorcerer.
A player can negotiate a new rule by spending 100 points, excluding the starting value assigned to their own life. The game master must accept it unless it would substantially obstruct the ritual. Another rule threatens players whose points do not change for 19 days with the loss of their cursed technique, potentially fatal in its consequences. Being able to spend points never meant being free to leave the game.
Only one new rule was approved: point transfers
After his fight with Yuji, Higuruma spends 100 of his 102 points to introduce Rule 10: players can transfer points to other players. He then gives Yuji one point. The change matters because participants can pool points without relying solely on killing, and because the transfer changes Yuji's balance under the 19-day inactivity condition.
An approved rule must not be confused with a planned one. By the end of the season, safe withdrawal still has not been authorized. Nor have Yuta's proposed rules for entering and leaving colonies or communicating with players inside them been enacted. His 190 points provide leverage for future negotiations, not proof that those changes have already occurred.
What remains unresolved after the final battle?
The group still needs to protect unwilling participants, including Tsumiki Fushiguro, and find a way to remove them from the game. Satoru Gojo remains sealed in the Prison Realm. The sorcerer known as Angel, whose ability may help break that seal, finds an unconscious Megumi, but this season does not resolve Gojo's release or the ritual's ultimate outcome.
The finale therefore represents new tools for Yuji's allies, not victory over Kenjaku. Season 3 ends with accumulated points, a functioning transfer rule and crucial goals still outstanding.
